00:00:06This video provides general information
about the Oxygen AI Positron Assistant Enterprise
00:00:12add-on and instructions for installing and
configuring it. Oxygen's AI Positron Assistant
00:00:19addon provides a powerful tool to help writers
use AI-generated content. There are 2 iterations
00:00:26of the add-on. The Enterprise add-on enables users
to connect to their own OpenAI or MS Azure OpenAI
00:00:33account. The benefits of the Enterprise iteration
compared to the regular add-on include users being
00:00:40able to leverage their personalized AI models,
while also enjoying a higher level of privacy.
00:00:47To install the add-on, I'll go to Help->
Install new addons. I'll type positron in
00:00:54the filter box to narrow the list. Notice the 2
different iterations and you can only have one
00:01:01or the other installed at once. In this case,
I'll select the Enterprise add-on.
00:01:07And I'll proceed through the installation wizard.
00:01:18After restarting Oxygen, I now have access
00:01:21to the AI Positron Assistant side-view. If
it's not already displayed, you can go to
00:01:26Window->Show view and I'll select the Enterprise
version since that's what I installed.
00:01:34Next I need to configure the license key. The
Enterprise add-on requires a subscription,
00:01:40but for evaluation purposes you can
also request a 30-day trial license.
00:01:46Once you receive the license key, you would paste
it here in this dialog box and click Register.
00:01:54I'll adjust the width of the
view to make it more viewable.
00:01:58Then I need to go to preferences to configure
it to use my OpenAI account.
00:02:03The fastest way to get there is to click the settings
drop-down and select Preferences.
00:02:08Then select the AI Service Configuration page.
First I'll configure it for OpenAI.
00:02:16The default address is already correct so I just need to
enter the OpenAI key, and click OK to finish.
00:02:25To show that it worked, I'll try one of
the actions. I'll choose to generate a
00:02:30short description in the current topic
00:02:37... and I'll click Insert to add the generated fragment in the topic.
00:02:42 I'll clear the chat and then I'll go
00:02:45back to that same preferences page and this
time I'll configure it for Microsoft Azure OpenAI.
00:02:55 So I'll click the AI connector to
be MS Azure OpenAI ... then I'll enter the
00:03:01endpoint URL ... and the key ... and finally, the deployment. I'll click OK to finish.
00:03:13Again, to show that it worked, I'll
try an action. This time I'll choose to
00:03:18generate index terms for the current topic.
00:03:26This concludes this video about the Enterprise
00:03:28iteration of Oxygen's AI Positron Assistant.
